I recently stayed at Happy Tuna in Hikkaduwa for a week of beach relaxation. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location of the guesthouse was perfect, just a minute away from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. The room was spacious, with a comfortable king size bed and a mosquito net. The ensuite shower had hot water, which was a nice bonus. The kitchen facilities were excellent for self-catering, and there was plenty of communal chill out space with dining tables and sofas. I would highly recommend Happy Tuna for a fantastic stay in Hikkaduwa!
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of the property is perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach and the bus station. The variety of activities provided, such as cycling, fishing, and diving, made my stay truly enjoyable. The staff at the tour desk were extremely helpful in arranging my day trips and providing useful information about the area. The free WiFi in the public areas was convenient for staying connected with friends and family. The availability of laundry facilities made it easy for me to keep my clothes clean and fresh.
Noisy guests disturbed my sleep.

The tour desk was so helpful, I had a blast snorkeling and diving! The free WiFi in the public areas was a great opportunity to see everyone's beautiful beach photos. And renting a motorbike made me feel like a badass adventurer.
Nothing like a bathroom window covered with a towel for some extra privacy while showering.

The kitchen was a great facility, allowing us to cook our own meals. The guesthouse was close to seafood and veg markets. Great value for money for budget travelers. Close to town and the beach. Wifi was good. Laundry service available at a reasonable price.
Felt really good, nothing to complain about.

The cleanliness of the towels and sheets could be improved, as mentioned by some previous reviews.

Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely amazing! The new room block was incredible - it was modern, clean, and had a cozy communal area for cooking and a fridge for keeping our drinks cold. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the huge mosquito net was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the breathtaking coral beach. Plus, there were some incredible street food vendors nearby. We can't wait to return to this stunning island and stay here again! Oh, and the kitten was adorable too!

Laundry facilities were a joy, got to clean my own undies for once. Free WiFi worked.sometimes. Beach and bus station were a marathon away, but hey, I needed the exercise.
Surprise! The pigs next door woke me up every morning with their harmonious oinking symphony.
